What vaccinations should I get for my dog?
Your vet at Pennard Vets Allington will discuss which vaccination are necessary for your dog. The recommendations will depend factors such as health and lifestyle.
Dog vaccines give immunity against:
- Distemper
- Parvovirus
- Adenovirus
- Parainfluenza
- Leptospirosis
- Kennel Cough
Puppies are normally vaccinated with two injections given two to four weeks apart, usually beginning at eight weeks of age. These can be given at our puppy and kitten clinics. A booster is then required annually.

Cat vaccines give immunity against:
- Cat flu
- Infectious Enteritis
- Feline Leukaemia
Kittens are normally vaccinated at our Allington clinic with two injections given three weeks apart, usually beginning at nine weeks of age. A booster is then required annually.
