125 years old, and planning for 125 more
We’re the world’s largest employee-owned vet group – and proud of it
We do things differently at Pennard Vets.
That starts with being the world’s largest employee-owned vet group, but it doesn’t stop there.
Across our practices in Allington, Borough Green, Langley Park, Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and West Malling, we go above and beyond to provide the highest possible levels of care, while making a positive difference to our communities.
We reinvest our profits to ensure that our team have access to the best facilities, equipment and training, and we embrace the future, leading the way with the use of technology such as PetsApp, and providing an innovative Pet Health Club to cover all of our patient’s needs.
As further evidence of our pioneering spirit, in 2022 we became the first veterinary practice in Europe to be classified as a B Corp – meaning we “voluntarily meet higher standards of transparency, accountability, and performance”.

A few words from our founders
We all went into Veterinary Medicine to do the right thing by supporting the bond between owners and their pets, by giving guidance on keeping pets healthy and using our expertise when they become unwell.
Having had different journeys getting there we came together as the guardians of Pennard Vets and wanted to protect its independence and ensure it can be run in a way that also benefits the community and the environment.
We looked to the past, saw what is happening in the present and looked to the future and felt that we needed to find a new path for the practice and put it into the hands of the team by making it Employee Owned. We continue to guide the practice and we offer this pledge
“We pledge to do what is right for you, in the right way and at the right time in a sustainable way. We will run the practice with you, your pet and our team in mind, whilst ensuring your voice is heard and listened to. We will work with you to deliver the best progressive veterinary care to your pets, support our local community and promote well-being in our people and the planet.”

Join the Pennard Vet Pet Health Club
We do things differently, and our Pet Health Club works differently, too. We offer our members unlimited vet visits throughout the year as standard. We love our patients, and we believe in giving them the right care, in the right way and at the right time. We feel that the best way to do this is to empower you to bring them in to see us, or chat to us via a video consult, whenever you have a concern about their wellbeing.

What people say about us
Simply the very best Vets. They have always been there for us in both happy (new puppy) and sad (palliative care) times 24/7. Kind, caring and they get to know owners and their pets. You always get a warm welcome from the whole team.
Pennard Vets are lovely. They treat your beloved pets as if they are their own. Staff are all patient, kind and understanding of the crazy love we have for our fur babies. We’ve been going here for eight years and I wouldn’t dream of taking our lil girlie anywhere else.
