Preventative dental care

Can pets be treated for tooth ache?

Dental disease is the most common disease we treat here at our Langley Park veterinary practice. Almost every pet will suffer some degree of dental disease, so we ensure we can offer a range of dental services to cats, dogs and small animals.

We may ask you to attend our Maidstone branch for scaling and polishing or for an extraction if this is in your pet’s best interests.

Pennard Vets places a strong emphasis on preventative dental care for pets, which includes diet and oral hygiene.

Pets with diseased or injured teeth may benefit from further investigation, and Pennard Vets has a dedicated digital radiography machine, specifically for taking dental radiographs of your dog or cat. These superior quality images allow us to accurately assess any further damage to the jaw bone, roots and soft tissue.

How much does pet dental care cost?

All of our pet dental care prices are fixed, this includes great after-care, which should, we hope, remove the need for further treatment.
