Luisa Hobbs, BVetMed, MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Experience:
I have been with Pennard Vets since December 2104. Straight after qualifying, I travelled to India for a month to volunteer with neutering street dogs and saw some of the diseases we vaccinate against first-hand. Since then I joined Pennard Vets in December 2014, and love every day working here.
About me:
I grew up in nearby Tunbridge Wells and went to the Girl’s Grammar, before moving up north to Liverpool University. I am proud to be working for such a wonderful practice so close to home. I enjoy going up to London on the weekends, skiing and travelling.
Family pets:
Two Labradors called Bernie and Ruby and four cats called Amber (male… Oops!), Smudge, Chuck and Bella.
Favourite dog walk:
Close between a gallop on the Ashdown Forrest and a splash around in Bewl Water.
Pet I would like to have:
If they existed, a micropig!
When I can I:
Like to travel backpacker-style around the world, and volunteer with animal projects where I can, whilst enjoying a beach or two...
