How can I protect my family’s pets from disease?

Routine vaccination provides protection against life-threatening disease which may be contracted from the environment or other unprotected pets your animal may meet in Sevenoaks.

Does my dog need any shots?

Your vet at Pennard Vets Sevenoaks will discuss which vaccination are necessary for your pet depending on health and lifestyle.

Dog vaccines give immunity against:

  • Distemper
  • Parvovirus
  • Adenovirus
  • Parainfluenza
  • Leptospirosis
  • Kennel Cough

Puppies are normally vaccinated with two injections given two to four weeks apart, usually beginning at eight weeks of age. A booster is then required annually.

Cat vaccines give immunity against:

  • Cat flu
  • Infectious Enteritis
  • Feline Leukaemia

Kittens are normally vaccinated at our Sevenoaks clinic with two injections given three weeks apart, usually beginning at nine weeks of age. A booster is then required annually.
