Caroline Collins, BVetMed, GP Cert FeLP, MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2002 and then travelled to South Africa where I was lucky enough to spend time doing voluntary work with small animals as well as wildlife – including the big cats. After a short spell in mixed practice in Nottingham, I joined Pennard Vets in 2004. I gained the GP Certificate in Feline Medicine in 2008 and have a particular interest in anaesthesia and surgery.

About me:

Given the opportunity, my spare time is spent in or around water doing or supporting various open water swimming events.

Family pets:

Ian, my black and white cat.

Favourite dog walk:

My previous canine companion Zac and I loved walking along the North Downs and when I am dog-sitting I still love to walk there.

Interesting fact about me:

I once sang to Prince Edward!

I would like to meet:

Steve Backshall.
